After being a partner then running Christopher Allens Jewellers in Catherine Street St Albans for over 8 years. when the lease came to end June 2017 I decided to take the opportunity to run by business online and return to a studio/gallery set up. I am now working in Islington but I would like to carry helping customers in St Albans with all there Jewellery bespoke commissions from engagement and wedding runs to remodelling older pieces or inherited jewellery that needs modernisation to give it a new lease of life. From the initial consultation right through to the finish product, Paul works with you every step of the way to ensure he delivers the exact design you require. Aiming to be flexible and fit in with you, Paul can carry out consultations and appointments in his Islington studio, or at a location of your choice.
Paul has been commissioned to make pieces for Damon Albarn, Ruby Wax and Matt Willis, to name a few, and a recent project saw him creating pendants for The Secret Tea Room in Soho out of broken vintage crockery.
Using his 30 years’ experience in the field, Paul is able to source a large variety of semi-precious stones and diamonds as well as creating a range of finishes and unique styles. Paul’s distinctive style is organic and textural, but Paul is open and creative, enabling him to design something that suits your own unique style, or redesign a piece of Jewellery to make it more modern and wearable.
